Highest Burnout Stunt Run Score.

I have hit 2.8 million so far. I am trying to get the 40x multiplier and it is driving me nuts. I have hit 35x a couple times now only to crash while doing the next stunt. ARG!!!

Here are some tips I have learned the hard way. I am not normally a gamer so these tips should actually prove valuable to everyone since I am expressing them from a rather newbie point of view. I found that serious gamers are doing these same things instinctivly and they forget to tell us newbies when we ask for help. (I know you didn't ask but thought this might help anyway).

1) Forget about the clock! It means nothing on a biger run. As long as you don't crash, you get to keep racking up the points.

2) Don't worry about going fast. Take your time and don't crash!

3) Don't let the timer expire between stunts. That will end your stunt chain and reset your multiplier. And if you time has run out, it will end your run.

4) If you feel you are going too fast, slow down. This is not a timed race.This will help you avoid crashing.

5) Pass up the smaller stunts (little ramps and such) they don't offer much in the way of points but pose great crashing risk.

6) Tap your boost, don't hold it down. Boost counts as a stunt and keeps you alive between multiplier stunts.

7) If you do a quick break and spin around, hit the REVERSE and drive backward for a moment. This counts as a stunt.

8) Don't use drift to get points so much. Use it mainly to reload your boost bar. You get some points but over drifting could get you wrecked.

9) This is the annoying part... Keep making the same run over and over until you reach what ever goal your are trying for. The more you drive one pattern, the easier it gets.

I hope to get my 40x tonight... I am so stinking close!!!

This earned me 4.7 million points. I used the tips I wrote about a moment ago. Taking the break to write really helped me focus. As soon as I got back to the game, and I was able to relax a bit, I got the multiplier.

Now to find the trick to the 10x and 20x boost chains...

I got about 2 mil once but then I stopped because I didnt realize how far I had beaten it by. I never really tried to do it the longest, but now Im curious because of this of how good I can do.

I had a 5.6million stunt run starting from downtown near the casino, heading down through the billboards on the road toward the stadium, continuing down the so. expressway and finding the stuff off to the left (billboard, super jump), over the bridge (super jumps, billboards), up toward the quarry, and then into the quarry. Just keep doing little drifts or hitting that boost before the clock ends! And watch out for those magically appearing buses...
