HOLY GOD! NFS UNDERGROUND 3 to be revealed on 21st May 2015

New images have popped up on the official Need For SpeedFacebook page, and it seems we will be seeing a new game announced before E3 even starts. According to the banner image on the Facebook page, there will be a new game announcement coming on May 21.

We don't exactly know what is coming May 21, but we know that something involving Need For Speed will be posted on YouTube. The banner image reads "Subscribe to see the first look at the return of NFS." The image then gives the URL for the Need For Speed YouTube channel. The last Need For Speed game released was Need For Speed Rivals, a launch title for the Xbox One and PS4. Need For Speed Rivals was also on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

So what could this new Need For Speed game be? Seeing how EA worded the announcement as "the return of NFS" makes it seem that this will be a more classic entry into the series. Also, looking on the Facebook page, a trailer for Need For Speed Underground 2 was posted. Along with the trailer, the post read "We've gone old school this weekend, hands up if you've been playing this recently?" Could this post mean that we will be seeing Need For Speed Underground 3 get announced soon? Perhaps I'm reading too far into this, but I feel confident that it's a yes.

UNDERGROUND 1&2 and the original Most Wanted with cutscenes are Hands down the best in the series.

It's about time..... The old PS2 is really getting old.

Underground is shit, go back all the way to NFS 3: Hot Pursuit or NFS: High Stakes.

I won't keep my hopes up, even if it is underground it probably won't live up to expectations

please be true. I had more fun with Undergraound 1 and 2 on PS2 than any other games in that generation.

If they return it to their glorious bumper cars style gameplay I'm getting it. I liked being wreckless...never played NFS for realistic driving anyway...

I agree. I loved Underground 2. I ended making 15+ cars. I had the PS2 one. It would have been better than it was if it had cops in it.

Underground 1 was the best IMO...that opening song 24's was the icing on the cake :P I still have it on PS2 and still play it on a weekly basis...best NFS series IMO....Most Wanted 2005 was the last good NFS game IMO...Carbon was the start of the modern crap we have today...

Only NFS games that I really liked! Cant wait!!
