Don't forget, GMail from Google is also technically still a "beta"; I feel developers put up that tag just so they have the liberty to change things without upsetting their userbase too much.

1) It's merely an optional medium to increase social interaction between users as well as create a more interesting way to use multiplayer services on PSN. This makes "it being one big joke" completely unimportant and unnecessary.

2) As stated, the term Beta in now ways implies that it is buggy, simply that the developers desire liberty to make drastic changes if the need arises (and even then, are they rarely drastic to begin with).

3) I have Home Beta, and it is not as buggy as some seem to fear. Granted, it is a little sparse on content at the moment, but I've only noticed a very few bugs in the entire service (mainly, in regards to the camera).

I was given a code .. I downloaded it probably like two and half weeks ago .. used it (since you can't 'PLAY' it) for about a hour, found it boring and stupid, have yet to sign back in ..

I agree with Token. I checked Home like twice and I'm done with it. I'll check it again once it's released to see if something improved, but if it's the sam, to hell with it.

Personally I'm not expecting much. I have a feeling it's gonna be one of those novelty items that after a little while your bored with it and when you have a friend over you might show it to them but that's about the only time you'll ever use it.

You also state that Home is not fun and not a game. Well here is my thesis to my argument: People say its not a video game. But in my opinion, it is a Video game. What is a game? Well it can be characterized as something of enjoyment. But some people might say, "Well I don't find it fun (which is YOU)." Well like any game such as the board game monopoly, some love it and some don't like it. This is comparative to Home. Some will find it fun such as me. And other will not find it fun. Either way monopoly is still a game. Now what is a video? Well of course ever knows what a video is so I'm not going to explain that. So if you put the 2 together, it's a video game.

Token... You seem to be bordering on the edge of pointlessness. What's the point of arguing with some one that has made up there mind. If he wants to spend all his time defending Home, then i say let him do it. Might keep him of the streets and make the world a better place. As for Home, I still haven't had the chance to see it. I'll get the Beta once it is released later today but I'm not hyped for it but it looks like it has a lot of potential. Only time will tell if it really is useful. I just feel that it takes away from the point of owning a console. Sure I want to socialise while I play but I don't what a game about socialising. Not sure if I said that correctly or if my point is heard but I guess to me home is asking me to stop playing a game just to interact with other gamers, where what I really want is the ability to chat and talk to friends while playing my games.... Anyway, I'll comment more on Home once I get it and see what all the hype is about. Cheers. PS. Token, a game doesn't need to have an ending... It just needs a conclusion.im_back
