who wants to look at pictures while they're gaming anyway? the in-game xmb is great. don't hate.

In-game XMB lacks a feature or two, but not being able to view your pictures in-game isn't one feature it needs. Cross-game chat, game invites...stuff like that is what it needs, not useless features like in-game picture viewing.

What, you need to pause your game to open up a picture of a hot girl (guy?) and take care of yourself? Sorry, it's just absurd to me that in-game picture viewing is something you think in-game XMB needs, and without it than in-game XMB sucks.

The whining on these boards is just getting out of hand lately.

You know, you want to look at pictures whilst ingame, which is fair enough, you want to do that but why? I mean, I know the PS3 is more of an 'entertainment hub' but it is still a GAMES CONSOLE! Play some games and don't worry about all these stupid commodities.

have people forgotten all the excitement we had when sony announced the in game xmb, only to find out it was virtually useless and its greatest feature was cross game chatting. it's months down the line from that and the in game xmb is still trash, even now we still cant look at PICTURES without leaving the game. this is what home is bound to be, it will probably have 5 areas at launch and only 5 more next year and the coolest thing you'll be able to do is bowling or something. prepare to get dissapointed people, just like the in game xmb.iLikeTheWoods

The first xbox couldn't do all that either. get a grip. 360 had a whole gen to perfect the art. Not only did they have a whole gen but they also made you PAY to perfect themselves.

PS 2 and 3 online stuff has always been FREE.

On the other hand, i don't see you saying the 360 suxxxx because it can't play blue rays disks.
Or that you have to play to play online.
Or that it's fan what as much as noise as an ox with a bad flu.
Or that it doesn't have motion sensing at all. or that some some of it's game already have multiple disks that you have to change in the middle of a cut scene.
Or that they make you pay 100$ for a 20 gig hdd. or that it'll cost you 150$ if you want to connect wirelessly.

Like they say ... grass is always greener on the other side huh.

Don't look at what you don't have ... look at what you HAVE.

Sadly some people would receive a free box with 5 20$ in it form Sony and they come and say it suxxx cos they wanted bills of 5$ instead.

I'm ok with critics but this is plain old w.h.i.n.i.n.g. and doesn't bring anything.
