how did sony copy nintendos way of putting in disk? Sony had their exterior model and plans for putting the disk in like that WAY before the Wii was even revealed like back in e3 2005 where there were pics of a ps3 but no pics of a wii. Sony may have got the idea of adding a market place from the 360 but so did nintendo.... so lets just go right ahead and blame sony.... and ofcourse Microsoft was the first electronic to have a home/interactive button. If anything sony had the button first because the psp had it before the 360 and the ps3's middle button is practically the same as the psp's home button.

....ok then the 360 copied just about every pc to date. so they wanted ot use that design just think if they used the other way you would be sayign they copied the 360.

how else would they let us download content onto the system. and its not really the same the ps3 network is more like a website you add things ot a cart and download.
use of the inteactive button on 360
ok and why should ps3 users have to get up and use they reset button on the ps3 instead of pressing a button on the controller... how about the wii they have that sort of thing too.
and now sony is trying to copy micrsofts achievments interface
why wouldnt they.. you see a good thing why not try it out, it adds replay value to their games.
To me sony is doing just fine they have a great system and has and is getting great games, so it has a few things the same as other consols. your point... maybe they wanted all this from the beginning and the others copied them.
well at the end of the day we will have home and who cares if microsoft has it. 360 owners have bashed it and i bet now the 360 version will be good and ps3 wont bla bla as allways. home is free the xbox 1 wont be and thats for sure.
we cant give out though the playstation is here today because sony copied the snes.
and just to say if the ps3 copied the wii disc tray then the wii copied car cd players

Not to mention I have the same type of disk loader in my car. ZOMG SONY SHOULD SUE GM! Cmon people, build a bridge and get over it. Competitive business is taking an idea, whether its your own or not, and making it work.

Agreed, why wouldnt other companys copy an idea and put there own twist on it, The gaming world was booming when they heard of wii's motion control, sony copied that idea but IMO motion controll has not been a success for sony but at the time it seemed a good feature.
If it wasnt for xbox live i doubt ps3 would have home coming at all, we'd be using the same in game online features as the ps2, i think this point is evident in the ps3 online community features to date, it seems like online was an afterthough and its going to take them 15 months to implement some nice online features(home).
And you could really say sony copied MS by wanting an online community, and ms copied PC, and wii well wii stayed in 2001.
Everybody borrows from everybody its smart buisness, if joe bloggs is selling 5million pairs of jeans a month and im only selling 500k a month and his jeans have pictures of something on the back pockets it be good sense to copy that idea as its obviously a selling point.
just to remind some of you , sonyinvented the home button first on there PSP remember? so no they didn't copy from MS and Big N so you 360 and Wii60 fanboys need to shut up. plus ubisoft is making a similer to LBP there was an artistle on that same site. so anything good sony come up with , others will copy. end of storyTokyo90and they all copied the Magnavox Odyssey since it was the first console back in 1972. anything else?

hmm lets see...PS3 was shown before the wii and slot loading discs is nothing new its used in cars. 360 copying dreamcas'ts controller what about that? 360 copying Sega's online. 360 didn't have the home button first, it was on PSP before that so they copied that too. Sony's not calling their achievements entitlements get your facts straight before you post here.

Who ever made the cd player in your car copied the Wii.
I don't think it matters.
It's hard not to copy something else in some way, shape or form, you can only put a new angle on something. I don't think that's a bad thing as such. Gives Sony more of an incentive to make Home better, or release it earlier if they have competition. At the end of the day, that benefits PS3 owners, and who cares if Xbox owners who bashed Home now think their version is great. Yes, you could call them hypocrites, but at the end of the day they're still going to get their version of Home. That's just my take on things.

Microsoft copied the " R2 Trigger and L2 Trigger " from Sony.
The fact is, there hasn't been a truly original idea since humans started living in tribes or smaller social structures. One idea tends to lend itself to the next and it snowballs into increasing complexity.
You can't be completely original without standing on the shoulders of others, it just sucks when a company trys to use the idea of someone else for a sort of corporate money making leap frog.
But this is the competition that many feel the industry needs, it forces companies to adapt and strive to offer things the others don't while trying to take the things the other consoles do well and recreate it in their own way. Isn't that the sincerest form of flattery?
The hypocrisy though of the few 360 owners that bashed Home for being an interactive waste of time should have their foot inserted into their mouths if they dare hype what is the equivalent on the 360.
I myself am excited about Home and entitlements, well mainly anything trophy based or what have you that signifies I beat a game on said difficulty etc... Instead of plaything though a game with nothing to show or a arbitrary gamerscore number that is representative of absolutely nothing.
