Hours spent on playing a game?

Is there any way that i can find out how many hours, how much amount of time i have spent on a game (one game) playing on the ps3? and also the total amount of time i have spent on playing games on a ps3 (all games)?

Some games have a menu option that tells you your statistics, usually with time spent playing to date.

I put in over a hundred hours on Red Dead and Demons Souls.

lol people i was asking how can we find out how many hours of a game we have played on the ps3 and lolz evryones telling me the individual time of a game being played lolz no prob....

Save file or in game menu if the developer cares to add it.

Jack, the first responder to your post answered your question. Some games have this feature and some don't. I would say that these days, more and more games support this feature.

when i finally unlocked new game plus and got used to not having counter icons on batman arkham city i literally played for almost a whole night, i finally had to make myself quit playing to keep my ps3 from melting! lmfao

Some games have a statistics sectionon the main menu, or occasionally tell you from the save data. There isn't a way to check how much you've played games in total on your PS3 though.
