How about online radio on a future update for PS3?

The major thing is that people don't really listen to radio much anymore.

You wanted in game music so you got it. Just rip tunes onto your PS3, the radio is a useless feature

i think apart from kiss fm, ur right in sayin no1 listens to the radio anymore, but this is because of the sheer poor quality radio stations out there.

if u look at the online radio stations, there are tens of thousands of them. and i for 1, love listening to radio stations that are specific to the music genres i like, (any kind of dance and electronica), alot of them dont even have ads in them and are just song after song mixed together.

it would be excellent if sony could incorporate a radio feature on the xmb; not in the internet browser (lets be honest the browser aint very good). i think sony would have to make it based on real player though (they cant really have wmplayer or winamp can they). or sony could make its own player, though radio stations would have to accomodate this new player which could take some time for ur favourite station to do.

Hey guys, what if we ask Sony for an update that when online thru the PS3 there is radio stations available for free!!!!, the PSP has them why not have it on the PS3 also !!!! this could be really cool!!!!, since it adds more features to one of our best friend the PS3 and it will make more fun to listen to stations all over the world for free! atm only virgin radio is supported within the ps3 browser
