How active is Battlefield 1943??

I just picked up a $20 PSN card and I wanted to buy Battlefield 1943 but I just wanted to know from BF1943 players if there are enough people still playing for it to be worth it. If not what other PSN games should I get?

i've recently returned back to bf1943 after 7 month layoff. and i've had no problems gettin into full servers it seems it still has a descently sized community. my only issue is after a year after release they still havent fixed the mic issues.

I havent been able to join a match for some reason, but I know that this game lags like hell. I'd buy something else with my card, you'll surely be dissapointedBow-T_88

Get it. It's a really fun game, you'll still find full matches and it gets really addicting. There is lag, but not so much that you would consider the game to be broken. If you're thinking about getting something else try Castle Crashers, really great game, and it has 4 player co-op!

I have not played BF1943 in a while, but when I do it is always a majorlag fest.

None of my other games lag like this.
