How active is UT3 online?

UT3 was pretty weak due to COD. A lot of people switched over as did I, but I loved UT the only reason I quit was due to a stupid bug that would sign me out of the netwrok everytime i went online. UT3 is very fun and with the new titan pack im sure it has way more life, it had a great community with lots of mods at the beginning and it went okay but i'm sure its much stronger now.

ut3 online sadly is really flawed, no matter what server you're on you'll have split second lag between what you press and what happens and it makes it impossible to drive any of the vehicles, also there are not too many servers

This seems to be the best response and I might add that with the PSN being free even the most low rated muliplayer games get alot of love. I'm a fan of Dark Sector....well at least the story mode!!! lol...Anyway sometimes I'll like to see if anyone is online playing and most of the time there is.

Uh, the Titan pack is free.

It's never been as active :) and is a BLAST to play. With the new updates and release of the Titan pack ( Details Below ) it's literally been swarming with people :D

Monster Kill!!!!!!!!!!!! IMHO -UT3 is like a popular drug, lot's of people use it, even love it, lots of others dont, and some hate it..

I've had this game since it was released, but I can't say I've touched it recently due to the horrendous server issues when I first played it (massive lag, popping mic sounds, etc.) I still have it (surprisingly), but when it does work, it is a ton of fun. The fact that it's still the same traditional UT experience that I'm so familiar with makes it a win for me. I'm looking forward to downloading the titan pack tonight and trying it out. I suggest giving it a shot, especially since it's really cheap now (20 bucks, so I've heard).
