To the topic question I use a Credit Card, no problems for nearly 3 years now and I always make 1% back on all purchases which eventually I'll save up for a ridicuously large tv for my future one-room apartment.

Dude at 1% by the time you get enough money you'll be able to buy a holographic TV. :P

On topic, I went out and bought a $50 PSN Card, just more convenient at this point in time.

That's the spirit! Same here. As for your other question: I'm not so sure that I understand what you're asking. If it allowed to to subscribe, then you had the money on your card.

I'm sure you'll get a notification about your subscription to PS+ expiring, and they'll prompt you to add funds to your account. If there are no funds, your subscription will end. I'll be using my check card for a one year sub.

My debit card was not being accepted for some reason, so I just bought a 50 dollar PSN card. Worked like a charm. In the meantime though I hope my debit card will be able to work.

Don't worry, once it comes time to pay the bill we'll feel the blow.

Shoot, I was going to make a joke saying, "with money" but I guess you use a credit card or PSN card. Anyway if I ever get it it'll probably be off a PSN card

Oh man, you aren't kidding. I just paid off my last credit card two months ago. It's too easy to get carried away with them, just a lesson to all you young people. Credit cards have their place and can be useful, just try to be responsible.

I got one to pay for gas and my phone bill. It ended up paying for a handful of new games and a PS3 for my dad for fathers day...;|. Luckily, I'm going to get about $1000 in a financial aid refund check so I'll be able to pay it off. 3 months no payments/interest FTW!

Haha, I remember getting my first credit card it college and my parents stressed to only use it for emergencies. Turns out I had a lot of emergencies in college. I was hungry, Emergency!, I need gas, Emergency!, I need books, Emergency!, I need beer, Emergency!, I need 10 packages of toilet paper so we can TP the Dean's house, Emergency!. By the time it was all said and done I had racked up close to $18,000 in credit card debt, not to mention the $70,000 in student loans. Man, college was great.

You can just buy PS cards and put a lot of cash on your wallet and then download it right?

I wouldnt be using my Debit card since if someone were to steal your PSN account they could get your card info and drain your account and its very hard to fight that with the bank. I pretty much only use my Credit Card for any online purchases since it carries a little bit of protection.

If you have no money in your wallet on the PSN and you have no credit card linked to it as well, then it should just cancel your Playstation+. But you can buy another card add the amount of funds needed into the wallet and leave it their so it can be drawn out to pay for the service. It will only take from a credit card if you have no money in your wallet on the PSN.

Good luck with that... 1% back is nothing...

you would need to buy nearly $30,000 worth of stuff to buy a 42' 3D TV.
