Awesome - for all you others. You are so freaking quick with slamming people and saying they are fanboys talking smack etc - if you don't have the problem then just shut up. This is apparently big enough of an issue for a company to develop a new product. All pc gamers that I know complain about the same thing - so if you grew up with console games and don't have the issue why do you think you need to slam / say the sixaxis is the best. The dude didn't say it was poorly built just that it was to loose for his taste. Also changing hte settings will significantly slow down how quickly your guy turns around - last time I checked it was a disadvantage if you saw the guy shooting at you at the same time as you died.........
Pfff... Come on. Sixaxis is the best controller on the market. The better one is the upcoming rumbling sixaxis. I'd like to hear what you have to say about other brands, I could write a book about why this controller is better than anything else out there.RASECUL
wow u freakin fanboy go home, this is the second topic i go into where u go putting people down for having concerns over their sytems. you need to grow the f*** up, not every console is perfectly manufactured and not everyone has to like everything about the PS3, u need to learn to let other people have their own opinions and stop enforcing ur own on them, god i hate people like u, annoying @$$ troll....
im having trouble with the joysticks, they are wayyy too loose....is there a way to make them alot more stiffer???trey555555
I totally agree with you. The sticks sit just a bit too high, so they feel much looser than say the 360 controller (which I think is the best controller ever). The main problem is that there isn't a very smooth acceleration of the crosshair onscreen. The crosshair moves very slowly with a slight tilt of the stick, but once the stick passes a certain threshold the speed of the crosshair jumps considerably. If there was an increase in the stiffness of the stick as it moves farther from center, this wouldn't matter as much.
It's not a deal-breaker, but since I've played the 360 extensively I have grown accustomed to Microsoft's controller. The XBOX and X360 contollers have a much more smooth acceleration than the SIXAXIS (part of the reason I like Halo so much). As the 360 controller's sticks themselves move farther from the "dead-zone" they stiffen, making the increase in acceleration more tactile, whereas the SIXAXIS controller has a constant looseness.Â
