I think the PSN is great now. You get trailers, demos, etc. And we all love Blu-Ray. Watching all those movies in HD. But, if Sony wants the PS3 to be a "total entertainment", how cool would it be it it had the functionality of the Apple TV? Where we would be able to rent and buy TV show's and movies all in SD or HD. Blu-Ray is great, but to fully future-proof their system they could have this downloadable format just in case the BRD's don't work out. Just think, instead of having to buy a hardcopy of a movie or TV series, you just download it straight to your PS3 to watch whenever. Plus the interchangable HDD's make this really possible. So long as Sony gets other production companies to join them like Apple did. PS4 maybe?johnnyboy232
Everything on PS3 is great right now,we just need a bigger and greater Game Library. Mores Games will make the PS3 Perfect, which i think by the end of 2008,our Library will be the ****,so many games im looking forward to this year.
Navigating the PSN store right now is a huge pain. The whole web browser thing is awful. Plus, can they just have it so I hit a button on the controller and it brings me to the previous screen? I know it has the PREV thing, but getting to the button is a pain in the butt.
Like other things on the PSN, they just need to copy Xbox Live.

"3. video/ music dl service (sony is a huge media corporation so this one should be easy)"
#3 would be huge, I think.
Allow movie content to be downloaded in high definition (In 1080p), it can ease the pain of waiting for the next movie to come on netflix, oooo, and have Dolby trueHD sound for the downloads.rctyke
Do you know how long that would take to download? Even with typical broadband speeds?
The interface is alright, but it could afford to be much better. They also need - duh - more content. This little update once a week isn't going to cut it when you stack it up against what XBL is offering... i.e. new demos, themes and content every day and a GUARANTEED game every week. We also need a Bomberman game to DL and play our friends online. And Burgertime. But that's not really Sony's problem. They need to organize everything a little better on there though... going through all games and selecting letter by letter is fine... if you know what you're looking for. It's not very browse friendly.
For the PS3 in general, they just need to flat-out ditch the XMB. And they need to organize the games section better. Separate the demos from the games, let us organize them alphabetically.
Its already great but there are 2 things i want
A bigger Downloadable game library
I want more PS1 games and more of those lil games like everyday shooter and stuff like that
Want to download PS2 games
Thats one thing i REALLY WANT but i dont think its gonna come around for awhile
It could always be a faster.
I'm not complaining about the current setup but the store could be setup a little differently so it's easier to find stuff.
Movie downloads would be cool but I don't think I'd use it that often. Music maybe?

Ehh... I agree they should change the interface to be more effcient, but I actually perfer it NOT be like the XBL marketplace...
I guess me and my cousins are the only ones who think navigating the XBL marketplace is terribly convaluted... It took us a while just to find where the add-on packs were for rock-band.... and when it's just menu after menu of lists of text... it's frankly not "fun" to shop if you don't kno EXACTLY what your looking for, if you get what I'm saying. It makes me appreciate the visual touch of the PSN (how a lot of things are picture-based and such)...
But I agree, they need to make a store designed specifically for a playstation 3 controller, not a mouse.
The fact that you can navigate the exact same interface on the computer (now) faster shows there's a problem with it.
