Serisly how come america never gets any hentai games from japan is because the rating system doesn't allow it over here and why do they edit video games from japan to amerca like getting rid of languge nudity parts of the game and every thing.

If you can get past the language barrier, you can just import them. Though hentai movies, you can not. Sucks too, since play-asia gives pretty good prices on their hentia umds. As for games, the psp is region free, so go wild.hazuki

Besides. I read in a Gamespot article surrounding the AO rating of Manhunt that Sony and Nintendo do not allow Adult rated games on their system.

America has decency laws that govern what can be sold and what can't. Games like the ones you're talking about - basically what amounts to porno gaming - could only be sold in smut shops, and in america people only buy videos from there not sicko cartoon porno games. Sony MS and Nintendo don't allow AO games to be developed for their consoles, so another thing for your porno games is that indie devs are who make them over in Japan- and it would cost them way too much to introduce that crap over here.

Either way, I'm glad to not see that crap here - all these people that love the sick porno can keep it out of my game store thank you very much.

Heres the thing, everybody takes porno differently. I started watching it back when I was 8. Though now, I turned out to be a completely unactive sexually person. Learning things early on can help a person, if they have the mind set to do so. Theres a place in the world for porno, and hentai is another way of expressing it. Guess its how a person thinks about things, since some people like keeping stuff like that secretive. Though as for any psp hentai games? It won't happen. It'd get a automatic AO raiting. Japan is a bit more lenient on what they allow. Exactly why most american castlevania games have been censored, since theres normally some nudity in them.

Although I agree with you that there is nothing inherently evil about sex/pornography or anything for that matter. I don't think calling them morons makes any sense. Since as soon as you do that, you are basically doing the same thing as someone who demonizes something that breaks their morals.

As for the OP. Any AO rated game will not be sold at a major retailer. As soon as that happens you have a dead game.

However, people who use their supposed moral highground as a defensive mechnism to keep from having to think intelligently or at all are synonomous with morons. Gamestop & Bestbuy as well as other retail stores that litter our land CAN carry porn but they CHOOSE not too, Just like 711 convinece stores decided NOT to sell anymore adult magazines,Further more Sony,Nintendo,MS decided not TO SELL adult games on there consoles.

So it doesnt have to do with federal decency laws!

Give up your hypocritical moral highground and realize that a sex game where you attach the wii-mote to your hip and bang a girl with a virtual schlong is a helluva lot less morally dangerous and 'evil' than a game where you run around a virtual city doing glamorized drug deals and get rewarded for killing as many innocent civilians as possible.

So what I'm suggesting is that you may find that you have a much more unsubjective arguement if you allow people to determine themselves for themselves , by asking them to explain - opposed to stating their nonsensical conclusion. Since their conclusion may be sensical under different values.

So I guess what I'm really suggesting, atleast in a subjective context, is that all you can really argue is whether someone really agrees with what they say, and making any external determination is some what irrelevant.

Funny thing is, all you have to say is that you believe those who disagree with you on this point are brainwashed, stupid, or hypocritical, and I would have nothing to say to you. However, I don't think you just unrelentingly believe that. Instead I suspect you are using the fact that violence is worse than sex to justify the determination of their hypocrisy.
