True! But unfortunately, as you know, there's a bunch of fanboys on the site and for some reason, they think there really is such thing as a best console on the market. While I don't agree, I just think it's in order to warn the TC who has just started posting. Anyway, I think it's against the board's rules to mention the other consoles.
Just speaking from experience with COD4 and TF2, but for random games having a mic seems a bit pointless. Mics are rare enough that when someone has one, they are usually the only person. And most of the time, everyone ends up hating that person with the mic. I would only use a mic for organized team matches with people you actually KNOW, random games aren't important enough to warrant the use of a mic.
no one has a mic because everyone trys to take there game seriously... but we all know that isnt the point, the point is to have fun... i for one love it when random people have mics because they make wacky comments like "ooooo my god i just threw a grenade at the corner and the dude came around and it blew up in his face and he went flying" followed by hysterical laughter and it lightens the mood and makes the game more fun to just laugh when the guy on your team gets rocked when he is the only one killed in a room of 6 of his teammates.
other people however dont seem to think this is fun for whatever reason... the only people i dont like with the mics are the mic breathers/cheese curl eaters, but sony should package headsets... even if they are wired with the console
ohh maybe because most of us uses blutooth mics so u have to plug it to ur ps3 to recharge it ,on the other hand xbox uses wired mic and u only have to plug it to ur joystick .
what im trying to say here that its easy to use xbox mic so u see many players chatting .
I thank everyone for their opinions as I said Im just tryin to make my experience more enjoyable. I just dont understand on team based games it more enjoyable and it makes for better strategy when people use mics. So if u have 1 would u please send friend request to Gods_Blasphemy. I have Warhawk Motorstorm and UT3, I dont have CO4 cause I have it on 360. I will be purchasing more games I have just been waiting for more people to use mics coming from another console were everyone talks it feels like Im playing with bot.
yeah I wish people would talk more, it would make the games a lot more fun and teamwork a lot easier. You dont have to know them personally to talk strategy with them, things as simple as calling out an enemies position es very helpful. I also play on my 360 and strangers talk strats to each other all the time.
