I'm proud the game sold well for ya'll. Its about time you guys have a game you can brag about, shame its a sequel and it took how many years to make it, but better than nothing :) *pats on the head* now take it to system wars.
Halo has a bigger fanbase, and the marketing behind the Halo games is unrivaled in the game industry. It's not even slightly surprising that ODST outsold Killzone 2 so easily. Who cares though. I got Killzone when it first came out and I've had my fun with it. Whether or not it sells as well as the competition is something for Sony to worry about, not us.
wow, that's pure insanity :lol: i don't care one way or another, but it is pretty funny how people fall in some kind of a trance when a halo game comes out. ahh, whatever, for their sake i hope it's solid game.
I own both and actually I didn't enjoy Killzone 2 that much because I'm more the split screen Gamer. halo 3 ODST has a great support for 4player split screen gaming. Anyway, it's not that surprising, Halo is for Micrososft what Mario is for Nintendo :/

What? it's our fault? its a normal scenario... there are a lot of Xbox 360 owners... and its one of their greatest franchises... the only time that i'll care about this "sales" stuff if the companies will us a cut/incentive if they sell well...
I'm not surprised, Killzone 2 wasn't that great of a game. But then, Halo ODST doesn't look that great either. I regret getting Killzone 2 and I'll pass on ODST, I lose either way, right?
Obviously being a PS3 owner my opinion is invalid but I cannot believe the Halo hype, I just cannot. I'll be honest ODST looks like the first attractive Halo game to come out since the original but the entire series is remarkebly watered down for the sake of accessibility. People talk about the "plot" like it's Mass Effect or something... I don't get it, his [Master Chief's] corny one-liners and the unoriginal science fiction elements (Cortana, Space Marines, etc.) just make me feel like I've played the game before I've even had my hands on it. I'm never "wowed" by Halo like I was the first play through of Killzone 2. It is a radically different experience.
