How did yall like Sonic Generations?

So I'm curious what everyone thought of the new iteration of Sonic..

I've watched the quicklook on Giantbomb and it sold me on the game instantly... just not at full retail. So I'll buy it at Gamestop on Friday for 30 bucks.

If you have played (or even better, beaten) the game, what did you think? A few questions I have as well.. Any points you can remember that are extremely frusterating, and what were your favorite levels?

it was surprisingly fun, my only gripe is i wish there was a way to play *only* as classic sonic..
