Simple Question ^. How did you buy it... did you buy it, did you pre-order it, why did you get it, where did you get it from, how much was it, when did you get it.

I got the 80 gig MGS4 bundle with backwards compatability for $499.00 at Best Buy on my wife's Best Buy credit card. And that picture of you licking your PSP.... Yipes, that's a word I shouldn't say thatrefers toan alternative sexual orientation that usually involves rainbows and parades.

Well at an EB games by my house someone bought a 60 gig and it broke within the first few months he got it, but rather then sending it in to get fixed while still under warranty he SOLD it back to eb games for like 100 bucks. They send it in to get fixed and i buy it for 200 (through a friends employee discount) this is in November of 2007 when they started to discontinue the 60 gig, thats my story :)

There was an electronics store that had one in stock and my brothers wanted one for Christmas, so my parents bought it on the spot.

Bout an 80 gig one the day after christmas '08. Paied 400 bucks for it at Walmart, then I went to Gamestop and bought MGS4 and LBP

I bought my 60gb PS3 in July '07 from Circuit City (RIP) for $450.

The reason for the odd price is because they were running a promo where you would receive a free SixAxis controller with purchase, but the clerk let me choose: a free SixAxis or $50 off the price. I didn't need/want another controller so I took the discount.:D

I got mine a week before christmas 07 and i got the 80gb with moter storm at best buy

I bought if for 399 at Target. Why Target? Because I spent several hours running around town trying to find a Backwards-Compatible PS3 last November. I couldn't find one and Target was the very last place I checked, so I just bought the new 80gb. Now that I have it I really don't think I would've used the BC very much.

I used cash, it took me a summer to save up the money.

December 2007 - after saving for about few months I spend 600$ on 60GB model at Future Shop store.

After about half a year later I finally got myself nice HDTV.

Online, cause I wanted a white one :D

My brother and I went to a store and bought it...I was so happy that day...I also got a free Heavenly Sword with it....

With a large amount of cash, how else? :|

While I was running to my local toys r us, my phone fell out of my pocket while I was on my way to pick up the last 60GB PS3. (which my holding time was up) Anyway, I got the PS3 and Had to retrieve my cell phone that was still lying in the middle of the road. That day was amazing.

Traded in my PS2 w/ 55 games 2 GH guitars, singstar mics and some other accesories as well as 2 PSPs and some games. Costed $400 at gamestop but their was a $50 off thing with it and I bought KZ2 with it. That was no moer than 2 weeks ago I think, prob less.

I went to the shop........took the money out of my pocket..........counted it ...............gave it to the shopkeeper.............then he counted the money...............

nd thn ........wait for it..............he handed me a ps3.........nd thn i was like:shock::shock::o

Pre-ordered it at Toys R Us (camped out over night just to do that :lol: ) and then bought it on launch day with US currency. Good times.

i got my 160 gb uncharted bundle from best buy.I was SO SO SO SO SO EXCITED!!!!Playstation 3 is the best console overall.Its good for images,surfing the web,watching videos,listening to music,staying in touch with friends,playing games AND ESPECIALLY FREE ONLINE GAMING!!

After i got my first job i saved for 3 months then bought it on Amazon cost me over 2 thousand dollars in my currency but it was worth it

I saved Gamestop Edge Cards and Gift Cards for about three years. Took so long because there were always other more important items to buy that kept cropping up in the meantime. Wash-dryer...stove...lawnmower....HDTV Minor things that had to be replaced. But early this year I finally had enough to get the 160 gig model and Fallout 3.

I got mine november last year, at a local eletronics store. They were blowing out the 40gb for the newer 80gb. Anyways I got a new 40gb new for 250$

I gave money to a a sweaty geek at a shop and he passed me a box which, when i opened, had a ps3 in it.

I went to target and put it in my cart, then I went to a local game store and bought a couple games. finally I stopped at circuit city and bought a bigger hard drive. It was an expensive day.

Got it for christmas off my parents at christmas 07

my360 broke for the second time and I decided It was time to get a ps3 to go with my collection...First time the old box died I was stuck with only the psp and the gamecube (sold my ps2 like a fool)...

My first "next-generation console" was an Xbox 360 and about a year later, I bought a 60GB PS3 by ordering it online from BestBuy.ca and I think about another year after that, I bought a Wii lol.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I bought my PS3 for $499 CND and I bought it mostly for wanting to watch Blu-ray movies.

I ordered the $399.99 80gb non-bc from Best Buy shortly after it came out (summer '08 ). I couldn't find the MGS4 bundle and thought to get that model b4 something else came out.

Preordered mine 3 months before launch. Also got a 10% discount off the launch price of £425, so I got it for £382.50.

I got mine for $700 CDN at Walmart in June 2007

i kame home one nite and my bro was high..haha so i had him let me borrow $500 and i got 10% off at kmart..
