how did you come up with you psn name?

i'm just wonder how did you come up with your psn name?

for me i have like 30 names, and i'm never happy with them...but for Mr_McGoober, I thought Goober was a funny word, and if someone had McGoober as a name, that would be great! :D

bascially its a nickname of a nickname, which still means death....irony....

I love sword and sorcery/fantasy novels, films, power metal etc. Hence the slash. and thrash because One of my favourite genres of metal is Thrash metal. They just went together nicely

My psn/xbl/steam name came from my grandpa then my dad then me.

Infact its just my nickname without an o, for some reason unknown to me although i think its just cause me grandpa was a shady old man and my dad inherited it just like any other nickname.

My second name is stox so i use stx from that, my dad got called shadystox just like my grandpa but i was mainly called shady from friends at school, even my teachers used to call me it, my mam even calls me it sometimes.

My dads dog was called shadey a black lab but he's dead now and my dog isa black lab andis called shady.

Allot ofpeople nowadays think the name comes from eminem, but my dads dog was called it over tens years ago and my grandpa has been called by it for 70+ years so its just sort of a family name but i still today get fools on xbox live going "hey shady you love eminem" so it gets old and i'd been thinking about changing it but everybody i play with knows me by that name so i just put up with the few knuckle heads.

Mine was influenced by the Fatal Fury games. I had an old AIM account that used the same name. Then when Socom 1 came out, I decided to drop the Fury part(I originally wanted to use fury instead, but I thought it was too plain) So, I toyed around w/ different spellings of fatal until I came up w/ what I have 2day.... phaytle

my PSN name came from a song (Dehumanizing Process) by Chimera. summed it down to dehumanizer, as for the 666, well i listen to metal and i think the devil is wonderful.

I try to use the same userid in forums and gaming things like PSN and Xbox Live. It has my last name in it, but is not a nickname I was ever really called.

Well, mine is Ultima-Soldier(see sig) and I picked Ultima because I loved the Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy Series, and I likeSoldier because Cloud from Final Fantasy 7 was an Ex-Soldier.

My first name's Jeremy and I wanted a title (sort of like Japanese people have). At the time, back in the day of MSN chats everyone would use 'elite speech" (which I disliked). There was x_o and other crap you could add on to your name. I liked the spoken word "zore". So it became Jeremyz0r.

Ps. That was a big chunk of time ago, at the time nobody had every added z0r onto the back of their name. Although, since then a very few people have used zor. (Which doesn't even pronounce the word they're spelling, correctly.)

Adding Captain, Sgt, Dr, General, etc, to something odd can often have humorous effects! :D
