I liked it, but it has absolutely no replay value and here's why.
First off, the multiplayer sucks, most people were expecting this so no point in going into any detail.
Secondly, when you play the game for the first time it's great, you do a bit/or a lot of exploring, collecting, tombs etc. and it seems like it has a great campaign. Â But it doesnt, when you want to replay the game just for the campaign you realize just how much of a piece of crap it is, not because of gameplay, not because of story (which was heh) not because of combat, but because it is the single most controlling game I've every played.
I didn't want to collect anything, I didn't want to explore, I didn't want to go through the same tombs because they were just simply too easy, I just wanted to replay the campaign and nothing else, but that's where this game truly falls apart.
You literally cannot advance for more than a minute without the game taking control through the form of a cutscene, lara walking slowly (nearly half the campaign is her walking slowly) or stopping all together just so the camera can show you something that's not important, you constantly lose control of the camera, a ridiculous amount of QTE's, time slows down for so many actions, nearly everything is so heavliy scripted, and what bothered me the most was how Lara would always crouch when enemies were near, before you even know they were there, killing any and all suspence.Â
I liked it, but sold it just yesterday because I don't see myself replaying this game for years, if ever again and by then it'l be cheap.Â
