ok got a question

got my cable modem back today and was just curious how to do a wired connection with the ps3?

the only reason im asking is cause the back of the modem only has one ethernet cable imput. so if i put an ethernet cable in the back of the ps3 theres no where to imput it into the modem. so what would i need to do?

Get a router or keep switching cables between your computer and ps3.

I don't know what decade you're from? Maybe the 1970s? Or maybe you're 10 years old, but everyone knows a router is required to run multiple internet connections.

A router is something everyone has to have along with a modem in order to run the internet. It's like someone not knowing they need oil in the engine of their car and gasoline to power it. The modem is the gasoline and the router is the oil.

You have 3 choices... 1) keep switching the ethernet cables between your computer and ps3. 2) buy a router. 3) buy a wireless modem/router and connect your PS3 wirelessly. 8)
