If you want to stream anything then the Ps3 does not have those capabilities built in. The PS3 cannot share or stream files from your PC as it is. You cannot share files on a network. It's kind of strange that they left such a good feature out forcing everyone to copy everything to a PS3 hard drive.
IF you are referring to having all online then just plug it into your router.
How do I get my PS3 on my network? I have it on my switch, which I use for my Mac, PC, 360 and PS3, but how can I get my PS3 on the network my 360 is on with my PC to stream music? ThanksTorstenSorensen
can you please elaborate?
network? internet or just a home network
stream music? from PS3 ? from PC to PS3
switch for? ok internet - cable modem - router? or cable modem switch?
So they just expect people to put all their media on DVDs? Brilliant...TorstenSorensen
May be fixed with an update.
Hopefully, but for them to say its the ultimate high-def/media experience, you would think they'd be smart enough to add that before the releaseTorstenSorensen
That was my same exact opinion. Having to copy everything to the hard drive or disk is rediculous. Networking is not one of Sony's area so i doubt it will ever be implemented. Since you have a 360 just use that since it will be able to play divx/xvids and x264 next week.
