As soon as you start fighting the t-rex run to the tree to the left, you can hide under it because the roots are high up. Then the t-rex will circle around the tree, then shoot it in the face with whatever you've got and throw grenades when it puts it head under the tree to bite you. The sniper rifle works well as it does alot of damage. Good luck!
well first of all turok is a GREAT game, and to get back on topic i kinda quit when i couldent beat the t rex at the end of the game but there is two rocket launchers at each side of the wreckage so i suggest using those.
i have no intention of getting this game at any point... But if for some alienish reason the game happens to fall into my PS3 and i play it, i'd just like to thank you for the spoiler warning...
