(Most) Developers work hard to create a fun and exciting game, stealing from them isn't very nice.
Downgrading to play ISOs of games you didn't purchase is lame. However, most people with downgraded PSPs are merely doing it for the homebrew. And yes, speaking of downgrading is illegal and will get your topic locked, and your account banned for 24 hours.
