From what I heard the game is kinda hard to aim in. The best advice I can give to you is practice. Eventually you will get better at it.

^What he said.

The reticle acceleration kills it, but with enough practice, you barely notice it.

I've been playing it a bit recently and can hardly distinguish its aim acceleration from CoD4's lack thereof.

Yeah I believe you can change the controls around but it probably will not make a huge difference if you don't actually get better with your ability to aim. Good luck and stick with it.

3 tips to improve your aiming in kz2

1. Shoot in small bursts, no more than 3 or 4 shots per burst otherwise the recoil is to strong and you spray bullets all over the place.

2. Shoot from the hip more often. You dont need to look down the barrel of your gun everytime and more often than not firing from the hip yields better results.

3. If possible, crouch before you fire, it increases your accuracy.

If it is the control scheme you are having trouble aiming with, then you can change the controller settings to alternate 2 so that L1 is aim, and not R3.

15 minutes... seriously.. its not that hard, you just have to play alot more tactical, and know that your reticle when hip firing doesn't actually represent where you're aiming, theres a dead on spot when fired in 2 to 3 round bursts.. also, never fire fully automatic unless you're gunning down 2 or more guys, always fire in short controlled bursts, and never go into scope unless you're pointing directly at the guy from the hip already..

Within time you will be accustomed to it. Theres nothing you can do right now, its like riding a bike, the more time you put in it the better you get. Oh and I'm pretty sure you can change the sensitivity.

i recommend you shoot the peron in the heart, since thwy have made the heart place and head the weaknessess, but the head will be harder,go for the heart, and when you think you are good enough, bash the head!

The PS3 controller simply was not made for FPS. I think Resistance 1/2 feel just like Killzone 2: slow, clunky, and unnatural. I turned my sensitivity way down actually, the crosshairs speed up waay to fast on the higher sensitivities. Just practice.

Thats kinda easy to do...The guns are a bit too accurate...Like, the pistol musy have no more than a 4inch spread over 250m :P

I don't mine the aiming or controls on KZ2 at all, I like them. The rely more on skill and feel than other games with clear crosshairs.

Practice. Changing the controls makes it even wierder. You move your rectile around faster but there is also this wierd weighted feel to it. Its annoying.

while shooting an enemy, if the cross hair is not on his body (due to him moving around) dont panic and jerk the sticks in the direction hes moving in. move it slow and steady. kinda like in other games when you want the character to walk and not run. once you get into this type of movement everything is precision. be quick with the trigger though. once you realign your sight you wont have much time.

Don't feel bad about it bro, I'm a monster at FPS and it took me a lil while to adjust and thats all you need to do too: adjust. There were some things that I find helpful that may just work for me. I cuss at the guy (mic is off ;) and bullets magically find their target. Aim small, miss small is something I go to on FPS too. Everyone has their own tricks, all of them require practice.

In the mean time:

1. Aim at the chest since its big and fire in short bursts.

2. Don't be afraid to lead ahead of them a little bit and wait for them to run into your sights, it will give you time to line things up.

3. Peek, aim, peek again then fire. Don't just stand there and try to aim until you get the hang of it.

4. Watch where people run, then aim for that spot and wait for the next guy.Killzone is an elbow to elbow game and a lot of the times people run where others are running to.Fortunatley, in every FPS, everyone's the same height! Use this to your advantage!

Hope that helps you like it did me.
