How do you cure Vampirism in Oblivion?

I have been playing oblivion for about 50 hours and one time while I was waiting or sleeping I was attacked by a vampire.  Now it appears that I have become one and it sucks.  You cannot be outside during the day.  So how do I cure this?  What do you have to do to undo this vampire crap?

yes you need to go to a church and pray. that will cure you. jackle2071

Vampiricism is one of the best attributes to get in the game. The only people that don't like vampiricism are noobs who don't know how to play with it. As a vampire you become increasingly stronger and gain special abilities. As a result it is great being a vampire. If you need to travel in the daylight just may sure you feed on a sleeping person, which will temporarily (24-28 hours) return you back to you normal self. As long as you keep feeding every day or so you should be uneffected by sunlight. WHen I play on the 360 I usually left myself turn into a vampire before going on quest or battles becomes you can become very powerful with it. It also helps becomes you can carry up to an additional 250 pounds of stuff in you inventory. If you decide to get rid of it you can do the vampire cure quest or if you catch it early enough you can you a cure disease potioncurve112
