With new PS3 games costing $60 a pop, how do you get around to playing all the great titles? Blockbuster? Gamefly? something else?

I don't get around to playing all the great titles, at least not right away. I buy what I can when I can afford it. They'll all still be there when I eventually get the money.

I dont play every new game, sometimes I waita month and buy a used copy, unless I really want a game as soon as its out

GTA4 was a good example, here in the UK a new copy was £40 (70$ US), when it was released, I waited a month and found a used copy for £22, it looks brand new, and plays like brand new, so im fine

Buy'em used. Avoid GameStop. Utilize local resale shops (CD Max, Disc Go Round, Mega Media Exchange, etc.)& the internet (Craigs list, Ebay, etc.). Make sure the resale shop has a trial period (to make sure game runs on your system- glitch free), and meet internet traders in a public place (no dark alleys).

During my most recent stop to a local resale retailer I picked upBioshock for $15, Blade Runnerfor $14 (Bluray) & the entire Indiana Jones collection for $20 (DVD). That's a ton of entertainment for less than $60.

Don't get me wrong, when slick new titles come out Icovet them like mad until the used prices drop to my level. I never spend more than $20 on a game. Some of my best PS3 games were under $20 (Orange Box, Warhawk, & Ressitance1).

Well, for a good long while, my girlfriend was buying me games left and right. It's how I acquired a good 3/4ths of my current gen games. :P But alas, we are no longer together (unrelated to the fact that she bought me games :P), so Blockbuster is getting my business alot more frequently now.

Honestly, I spend way too much on video games. I usually won't spend $60 on a game. I buy a lot used or wait until the price drops. I did drop $60 on GTA4, MGS4, Street Fighter IV, and some others. Recently I dropped $60 on Sacred 2 and I'm going to trade it in to Gamestop ASAP just so I can get something out of it while it's still $60 new. I'm sure they won't give me more than $25 but it's better than nothing.

I don't get around to playing all the great titles, I just pick the ones I'm the most interested in and buy those. The rest I get when they're really cheap.

It depends on the game. If it's something I'm REALLY anticipating then I save up, and if there's time; pre-order. Otherwise I use Game Fly.

I´m buying only games I really like. Wich keep me playing even after I finished the storymode. That´s why I like games like Oblivion, Skate 2 and COD´s. They keep me playing what gives more value to my money. I never buy games like Devil May Cry or any other game that´s really linear and there is nothing to do after your first playthrough. I just lend them from friends. Like Mirror´s Edge.

I have a load of money saved in my bank account and i only buy games if i know i'll like it. Haven't bought a game since GH:Metallica. Also i usually buy them on eBay for half the price (retail) also they're brand new.

I work, part time but get enough, save it up and buy games. The girlfriend complains but what else could it buy? Gaming is my passion, and to have a passion you need to spend. :P
