Theyre both for the 360 but im posting in these forums because, well, Sakaguchi made a lot of great games on the PS. So, how do you guys feel about his 3 new games, specifically Blue Dragon and Lost Odyseey (Cry On has nothing about it yet). Both are very different and Blue Dragon will be released in the US during the summer and Lost Odyssey for the holidays

And please, dont be an ass, be curtious :) (this is borderline systemm wars but moreso a ps3 topic because i want to know a ps3 gamers take seeing as how Sakaguchi's main work has all been on the PS)

As long as this doesn't turn into a system bashing thread, something good could actually come out of this thread. Don't be surprised if it gets locked however. So first, Blue Dragon. To me, it looks like a glorified version of DQ8. I love Toriyama's art style but there is absolutely no difference between his different work. Now this is nothing stopping me from actually wanting the game as it looks both beautiful and fun. Nothing new on this one but as with DQ8, nothing new is really needed when you actually take the effort of polishing every single elements of your games. Looks like it will be a must buy once it comes to our side of the world. Lost Odyssey on the other hand never was able to catch my interest. The art style didn't get me at all and the gameplay was kinda repulsive to me lol. Still looks like a high quality game, I just didn't have a flash of love for that game yet hehe. All in all, both looks like high quality product that I would probably end up buying if I get the console they are released on later in the future.

will, about blue dragon, i dont know. I dont like that kind of art. maybe a rent for me

LO seems cool, though very few details and not very good demo (i know it was old)

Cry on, will i say he should cry on on what he hope to achive with this game (he said he wants players to cry ever 15mins while playing this game). unliss the cover is made out of onions, gl

but what i hate about him is one thing, he dosnt have to come out and diss the PS3 and koturagi after he moved on... honestly i see that as a low blow and stupid move from a good guy

Lost Odyssey from what was shown looks very boring..

As for Blue Dragon, I'm not feeling that art st yle, and I don't like how their standard attacks are attacks from well.. Blue Dragons. However it looks a lot more fun than what we've seen of LO. If you've seen the dungeon gameplay you'll know what I'm talking about.

Cry On, we'll see.

He's dissing on PS3, Kutaragi, and Sony because he works solely for MS now..

Blue Dragon looks great with nice turn base battles.  LO doesn't look that great besides it pretty graphics the battle system looks like a very slow pace turn base system that your use to seeing on the early SNES rpg's. So far what Sakaguchi said about LO story seems boring too.
