How do you prestige in red dead redemption?

You CAN "prestige" 5 times in RDR. (i.e. restart your rank to 1 and go to 50, a total of 5 times). However, I don't know how, I'm only level 20.

The correct term would be the "Legendary ranks" rather than prestige mode.

When Online, press Start and select Multiplayer, your online profile is displayed and press Triangle to Pass into Legend;) And then your rank, challenges, weapons and mounts will reset again.

Ignore those saying "you can't prestige", because you can, it's just the correct term is "Passing into Legend":)
