That's for older FW video files. For newer ones, you simply go to settings, and at the top thepull-down menu labeled 'Device'has to beset 'PSP'. Then, the menu directly below it hasa firmware number and different aspects of how it will be recorded. I personally have it set to: 'FW3.30+ AVC 480x272 768kbps Stereo/128kbps AviSynth'. This way, it's the bestquality possible without wasting pixels. Then, make sure the dialog boxes below them have the same things (they should).
Now, simply run the Video Wizard with your videos, and then you can do two things- (A You go to the 'Library' tab in Video 9. There, highlight your video, and select Copy to Device. Sometimes this doesn't work and you must instead do B. (B you connect your PSP. After that you go to My Documents--Converted Videos--PSP--MPEG4-AVC and find the two files (video and picture thumbnail) and copy them both into the VIDEO folder of your PSP.

That's as good of a step-by-step you can ask for. Once you install it it pretty much tells you what to do through the Video Wizard. If you need more help, feel free to pm me.
Well i just downloaded this patch for media manager so now i can put vids on my PSP. The only problem now is that the files are so big. Remeber the Tians is 458.89 MB alone. And i only have 1 gig. Do anybody know how i can make the file smaller?

I haven't used that program, but you should be able to dumb down the quality a little bit, or switch it off widescreen. Those should make it a significantly smaller file.
I just installed the PSPVideo9 and it works absolutely great.

I use pspvideo9 also, it really is a great piece of software and its free:lol:
nope, it doesnt allow you do any of that. I was wondering if theres a program i could download to make it lower because it takes like 2-3 hours just to put one movie in.Neo-37
not 100% Sure, but that could be your PC.
Have you tried google and youtube? No offence, but theres some pretty simlpe tutorials littering the web.
What are ya talkin about. I just need help finding something that will shrink the size so it wont take up much space. I can get it on my PSP but movies are taking 2-4 hours. Does anyone know what can do that?Neo-37
Like I said, the only thing that I can think of is to make the video or audio quality lower. I just put the Incredibles and The Grinch on my 1gig memory card using PSPVideo9. I just don't know about any other programs.
well for some reason pspvideo9 wont reconize my PSP is connected. Is there a way to save my video that i just coverted and use media manager instead of video9 to put it on my PSP?Neo-37
or you know you could just drop the video in yourself without the media manager.
take the video from the coverted videos folder in my documents then place in the video folder in the root of the memory stick.

That is why you should try PQdvd's software for the PSP. It will rip the movie make it very small and put it on your PSP for you. All you have to do is sit there and stare at the wall. It doesn't get any easier.
Here is the link. It cost $34.99. It is a good deal if you do alot of this. It is expensive if you only want to make a movie every once in a while. It works with all DVD's and Videos. http://pqdvd.com/psp
