How do you remove the PS3's faceplate?

Got this from an article talking about it being removable

"By pressing a button on the side of the PlayStation 3, the top panel of the console pops right off. The warranty sticker sits below the panel, so taking it off does not appear to void the console's warranty. Whether Sony intended for customizable tops is unknown, but it should be interesting to see if companies begin to release custom tops for the PS3 in the coming months."
