Seeing as cod4 is a breakthrough fps and its replay value is very high,well in my opinion at least.. And I really hope the guns feel as good and natural as they do in COD4 only thing that looks to be a problem is how clean the graphics look compared to cod which looks more realistic to me i dont know what do you guys think?
I prefer the more tactical approach that rainbow six has, probably comes from being a socom fan for years so will be getting it as soon as i can, i really enjoyed the last one so hope this one is even better especially since its not a port this time.
It has to improve massively to be even metioned in the same sentence as COD4. If you check my profile I reviewed R6V and in hindsight I rated it too high. I'd probably give it a 6.5 now. Rightly or wrongly I wrote the review when there wasn't that many "good" games on the PS3 and I was rating the game when there wasn't really any competition.
I enjoyed the original Rainbow Six Vegas much more the Call of Duty 4, so I have no doubt I'll enjoy Vegas 2 much, much more then CoD4.

I am hoping R6v is actually stable for PS3... Knowing Ubi though it's probably much safer to buy the 360 version if I ever plan to play that game online like i did with R6V.
No doubt it'll be more tactical than COD4 (ie. no guys running around like madmen shanking people). I think the question is whether it will be anywhere near as good as RB was on PC. RB6V for PS3 fell short in terms of gameplay and the online was downright crude in comparison. Thankfully the graphics look better than the first RB6V, and they've brought the run capability back; hopefully the improvements don't stop there.
