How does Bad Company 2 compare to other shooters?

I have only played the demo of Bad Company 2 i think it's great. I just want your guys opinions on this game and other shooters

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 stomps on the competition with ****-soiled boots.

It's at the top of the food chain.

It's the Alpha Male.

It's the mama and the papa.

It's the best FPS there is.

In my opinion the demo was awful. I won't be buying it

I loved the demo, It's probably gonna end up being my favorite FPS

Yeah, well that's what the Battlefield franchise does to me.

And having played both Bad Company 2's Beta and demo, I can safely declare BFBC 2 my all-time favourite online gaming experience.

I was expecting more. The demo is really buggy, and I'm not sure how many game types there are but I imagine Rush will get boring pretty soon on almost any map. Also, the maps are too linear, you really don't have much choice on whether you want to flank or runstraight at your opponents.

Ignoring some of the lag issues (mainly PC version only) I found MW2 to be a much better experience.

Whenever i play a FPS the sniping is always what sells me on it.

That being said i think BC2 Beta>>>>>>Demo so just a warning for people saying they didnt like the demo.

This game seems to have a nice flow but what would make it stale is the single role of the gold rush mode. Its all one objective and it seems like it could get stale pretty fast. Compare that with KZ2 wich changes objectives on the fly and so far is my favourite FPS of all time. My only gripe with KZ2 is the sixaxis ruins sniping GRR.

MW2 is for fast paced (not to say BFBC 2 isn't just not a fast) and more of a one on one type gane where you can just go rambo on people.

BFBC 2 is more tactical and you have to work with you team in order to do good.

I was impressed with the demo.

Very realistic graphics, and sound. Even the Mics. work properly this time.

Lots of weapons and the environment as far as I have seen was phenomenal.

Falling Trees, and blown up buildings

ATVs.

It wont be as popular as MW2.. but it would be good.

It's a demo. Do you expect to play the whole game?

Its great, I will be buying.

Good game overall, can't get the full experience on the demo yet. If it will entertain me for at least 60 hours, then I'll probably buy. Otherwise, I don't believe it was what I expected i to be... but god nonetheless.

Well for the multiplayer I didn't like it, it was boring. But single player will be great.
