FF7 hasn't aged very well, But both games have an option "Smoothing" which you can turn on and off...I'm not sure if it makes a huge difference but don't miss out on two great games because of the graphics.-Hoax-
Smoothing makes a big difference.I'd say they look ok. If you're used to HD graphics then you might get a bitter taste at first.:P

VII is kind of pixelated and you can tell the game was made in the 90's. I think it looks great personally because I was gaming when the game came out originally and remember how good it looked back in the day.

Just not in an HDTV/PS3 setup. Just afraid my eye sight will degrade if I play them in that setup.
it looks kind of pixelated but no so much that you'd want to stop playing it also i'm not sure if anyone else has the same problem but when you play the game it doesn't fit the whole screen its like a black frame appears around it.
but apart from that it looks great and please don't let anything put you off from buying it as its still a great experience
I'd just be honest and tell you that it looks awful but the gameplay is awesome though. That's the truth plain and simple.
