[QUOTE="ColoradoKindBud"]^If you can't answer a simple question without the insults, then don't bother posting at all.psyumamen Completely agree
I have been wondering this myself, as not all PS2 games look so swift (to me) on the PS3. Even after the updates, Resident Evil 4 looks terrible, where as Metal Gear Solid 3 looks preety good. I'd be curious if anyone has tried GOW2 on the PS3 yet to figure out which category it fits into.wenzkeMight be due to the HDTV you're playing on a game intended for a SDTV.
I believe that I can answer this question for you. Even with the progressive scan feature turned on the game doesn't look so good. I'm playing on a 37" LG brand HDTV LCD. Alot of the PS2 games don't look so good even with this feature activated.
The only four  games that come to mind, that I've  see a noticeable improvement in are Grand Turismo 3 or 4 (which ever was the last one it can do up to 1080i), Tourist Throphy (for the same reasons as Grand Turismo), GUN, and SOCOM:Combined Assault. These are all with the progressive scan feature activated and would look that good on the PS2 a well.
If anyone can think of any other titles please add them.
i was playin the original Gow on the PS3 and found rapidly pressing R2 to be harder than with the ps2 controller. Its a minor inconvenience, but still annoying at times. Also there is the lack of vibration. yungboi
isnt God Of War 2 supposed to play as 720p on ps3? liamabobno. 480P. maybe with the new BC functionality it will get upscaled though...

So no more of that painful R2 button bash, atleast for GOW2
