How does it look on a non-HDTV?

i kind of want to get a ps3, but i don't have an HDTV, and it doesn't look like i'll be getting one any time soon.

how good will the graphics look on a regular non-hdtv? i know they aren't going to be as good, but will it still be good enough to be enjoyable? or is it going to be so bad that i wouldn't even want to play it?

ok, to tell you the truth, i dont have an HD TV, but my friends do, and what i can say is that it looks alot greater and worth its money, but if you cant afford it dont worry about it it will still be fun, but i do get pissed off abit because on some game with a non hd set you can not see the text clearly, and it is sometimes harder to see enimies if you play shooters. Also in some cases the graphics look great, but sometimes it looks almost as bad as ps2 , i think it depends on the game, but dont worry, you should still get a ps3, its worth it 100%

but i am saving up for one, hopfully a 1080p, but as long as i have any i will be happy !

i played non-HD on my ps3 from december 06 to march 08. never bothered me at the time, i just enjoyed the games i was playing. i never experienced HD at that time so it didnt make a difference to me.
