I have never really been into stealth games but I was looking at a trailer of this and it looks like they have added more shooting. Do you think it will be like the others or a little more shooting.
Well, I have only played MGS2 and 3. In both of these games you can actually complete the game by doing some gun n run. I think MGS4 will be even more action oriented, so if you dont like stealth you could always just. . . you know, gun n run.
Graphically the game looks awesome. Cant wait to play it.
my my ... yea but the delays ... on every ps3 game for that matter... i bet games we havnt even heard of are delayed till like a day b4 the ps4 comes out... but yea it does look a lil more gunning which is good cuz in previous games they gave u guns but u couldnt use them for most of the game but this is a good thing... a spy that can be stealthy can kick a$$ n be home in time for dinner
Seems a little dumbed down. Instead of taking reccomendations from the fan of the game from the very beignning, they talked to the people who didn't like it and attempted to fit in everything that will please all gamers. But frankly, I couldn't give a **** about the other gamers.
It may look like there's allot more shooting giving the fact that a part of the game is set a a war zone but MGS is always about Stealth... Stealth and sneaking will always be the order of the day in MGS unless your facing a scripted event like a boss fight or sub-boss fight ( a group of soldiers). Remember, this no FPS, this is MGS. :P
The day I get this game in my house, I will rip its pants off and do things to it that I wouldn't do to a retarded, half-dead farm animal in a dark back alley with no one looking on a warm Thursday night in Nebraska.
how does MGS4 look?......look buddy if you never played a MGS game then your not going to understand the story, but buy it anyway :D...its going to be the BEST GAME IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND AND IT WILL MAKE YOUR HEAD EXPLODE BECAUSE OF SHEAR AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!.....im gonna buy it on the day it comes out 8)
From what I've seen the AI looks pretty... stupid. 70% chance I'll buy this game, but I've never been a MGS fan up through this point... so why start now? ^_^ (Same with DMC4... both will require a demo beforehand before I decide to pick them up)
The only thing Ive absolutely hated about all the previous Metal Gear Solid games was that damn fixed Camera-Angles! I mean, I love the games but damn, those get annoying! Nothing like running around a corner from the damn guards only to get shot because you accidently took cover. Damnit. Lol. Im really glad that Metal Gear Solid 4 is changing that and making it not fixed. Yay.

Theres a difference between these games though. Halo 3 was horrible, compared to the first atleast. MGS4 looks amazing, and better than all previous 3. MGS4= Good Halo 3= Bad. IMO of course

Ha no no you got it all wrong. I'm not comparing the two games in the category of gameplay or GFX, im simply stating that Halo 3 was the 360's Holy Grail, and MGS4 is becoming that for the PS3. Im just simply basing it off hype.

Im sure PS4 wont be here for quite a while. My brother and I didnt get our first (We have 2 now, 1 for each of us) untill I was in 5th grade, and Im sure it was out a year or 2 before then. And we didnt get a PS3 till not even a month ago, and Im in 11th grade now. Thats atleast 6 years.

Yea, its definatly the system seller and most hyped game ever, but the only good thing to come out of it IMO was the theater system. Everything else was just blah. Lol, I love my RPG's and Mass Effect is among one of my favorite games ever. I guess its a love or hate game lol.

Do not buy this game if you think is going to be an action Shooter. It is still a stealth game, with better shooting controls, but the game is not designed as some mindless shooter. You can expect some low enemy AI, that is easy to expliot, like any stealth game, weird and confuseing storyline, irrealistic boss battles andstupid sence of humor
That being said, since this is my favorite game franchise, I love every little thing above mentioned, so this game is looking like one of the best games I will ever play.
How does it look to me? It looks like when i finish it will leave a lasting impression...probably it will be the only game that will make me want to go back in time so i can experience it for the first time all over again.
It looks great actually. The story ends here, that's the biggest surprise. The gameplay from 1,2 and 3 were phenomenal...and with Kojima adding new innovative ideas to the game, it can't possibly get any worse (you know how Kojima is :P).
