How does Skyrim play on PS3?

Does the day 1 patch address the glitches? Any major or noticable bugs? Just asking because I don't see a review for the PS3 version.

I was hoping it didn't have screen tearing on PS3 and was v synced.Took agamble and bought it, the game runs AMAZING on PS3. It looks beautiful and places just the same. Buy.

From what I've heard there are some major freezing issues with the game. Can't confirm it myself as I haven't played it yet, but I'm holding off on this until they fix it.

they're not major, but can be a bit nervewraking. It can freeze for a few seconds at times, but then goes back to normal. The worst was when it happened right before character customization (right in the beginning of the game), but after that point it really hasn't been a big deal (I'm 7 hours in and it hasn't come back except once that lasted 2 or 3 seconds).

Other than that the game runs very well, which is surprising considering the massive amount of things you are able to do in it.

Litterally just had a glitch, it froze on the loading screen and in the end I had to restart my system, I wasn't in the middle of doing anything important so it hasn't annoyed me too much. But other then that it's runs great...unlike new vegas -.-

i know they have rebuilt the game engine from scratch, but the game-breaking bugs and glitches in New Vegas have completely destroyed any confidence i had in Bethesda. As much as i want to play this game right now, i am going to give it awhile to see if they are any major issues before i buy the game. And if there are any issues at all, then I'm skipping the game completely.jj42883

I've been playing TES since it started with Arena, and there isn't a better rpg out there. I honestly wouldn't care if it had more bugs than a first release of a Microsoft operating system, I'd still play it:D

Same here. I've played too many broken Bethesda games on the ps3 to buy one so close to launch. I'm amazed so many people did. It's like paying $60 for a beta.

I'm waiting until they release their obligatory big patch we always see with a Bethesda game...even then, I'll probably just rent it for the ps3 and wait for goty for the pc.

I'm amazed that the ps3 version looks nicer but is that the way it was built or does the 360 have some weird visula glitch? The looks of the game wasn't what worried me, it's the stability. I don't want to buy another game that crashes every 15 mins.
