Does the day 1 patch address the glitches? Any major or noticable bugs? Just asking because I don't see a review for the PS3 version.

I was hoping it didn't have screen tearing on PS3 and was v synced.Took agamble and bought it, the game runs AMAZING on PS3. It looks beautiful and places just the same. Buy.
but the game-breaking bugs and glitches in New Vegas have completely destroyed any confidence i had in Bethesda, .jj42883What game breaking bugs are you refering to? iv put in about 100 hours "multible play throughs" and have not encounterd any thing i would even come close to calling game breaking. the game had some freezing issues just like F3 had but that only happend every now and then. And after the last couple patchs those freezing issues are really few and far between for me. Iv encounterd 1 quest breaking bug for a minor side quest "the one were u have to save the farmers brahmen from a super mutent" But other than that any glitchs iv seen have been fairly minor and nothing "game breaking". im not saing your wrong but just asking what bugs you have found that broke the game?
From what I've heard there are some major freezing issues with the game. Can't confirm it myself as I haven't played it yet, but I'm holding off on this until they fix it.

they're not major, but can be a bit nervewraking. It can freeze for a few seconds at times, but then goes back to normal. The worst was when it happened right before character customization (right in the beginning of the game), but after that point it really hasn't been a big deal (I'm 7 hours in and it hasn't come back except once that lasted 2 or 3 seconds).
Other than that the game runs very well, which is surprising considering the massive amount of things you are able to do in it.
i know they have rebuilt the game engine from scratch, but the game-breaking bugs and glitches in New Vegas have completely destroyed any confidence i had in Bethesda. As much as i want to play this game right now, i am going to give it awhile to see if they are any major issues before i buy the game. And if there are any issues at all, then I'm skipping the game completely.jj42883New Vegas was made by obsidian, not Bethesda.

Same here. I've played too many broken Bethesda games on the ps3 to buy one so close to launch. I'm amazed so many people did. It's like paying $60 for a beta.
I'm waiting until they release their obligatory big patch we always see with a Bethesda game...even then, I'll probably just rent it for the ps3 and wait for goty for the pc.
I'm amazed that the ps3 version looks nicer but is that the way it was built or does the 360 have some weird visula glitch? The looks of the game wasn't what worried me, it's the stability. I don't want to buy another game that crashes every 15 mins.
