Does it put your PSP game onto the TV via composite? S-video? What? I don't know what it's called so I can't google it. I get a bunch of other generic cables.

If someone could link me to a picture and a description I can figure it out myself if you don't know the terminology.

I believe you have to have the composite (R,G,B) cable to play games on the TV. But if you are just looking to watch UMD video you can get the component (R,W,Y).

These are links to U.S. Playstation, but at least it gives you the info on them both.

Wow... Why are they forcing you to use component? That pisses me off... I have an HDTV... but now I need a way to convert component down to composite for other reasons. Atleast it's better then the Nintendo DS in this regard- it actually has a consumer solution to get it onto your TV.

just a tiny correction:

component = red, green, & blue (video), white & red (audio).

composite = yellow (video), white & red (audio)

(both are analog, so cable quality will affect final image quality)

i know there's an s-video version out there (also analog). just not in USA.

if someone figures out a way to view games using composite (without a progressive scan TV), could you email me at thedecencyproject@gmail.com ? i would greatly appreciated it.

-peace!

oh yeah, and you need the component (not composite) and progressive scan for viewing games. you can't view games using composite.
