People keep on saying that the game is full of technical problems and glitches. What are those glitches anyway? And are they more annoying than the FO3 GOTY glitches or less annoying?

played for about 6 hours on xbox 360 and just see occasional bad guy get stuck in a rock or car wreck. nothing as funny as that guy who had Doc's head rotate !!! classic.
Ya basically everyone now and then it kinda pauses for like a second or two. ( Frame rate drop), and like enemies will get stuck in rocks. Nothing MAJOR, but everyone exagerates online. Enough if your like a graphics whore, or someone with OCD to get upset about, but the average gamer really wouldn't notice this stuffXx-Addict-xXI can bear with those glitches. You're completely right about people exagerating how glitchy the game is.
I have 30 hours into the game and it has froze 1 time.
It seems either people are blowing things out of proportion, or certain games are somehow more buggier then others (which is bull). The game does have a little lag, but to say it ruins the game is laughable.
Some people experience some pretty bad glitches others not really, but the game has some really bad glitches.
I checked out the GT review and the reviewer got stuck in a house., I also saw a video of the doctor who has his head rolling and rolling.
Also there are problems like freezing, and the game goes to the XMB and quits the game by it's own.
I hope that are going to be patches to fix this bugs, but it's amazing how they launch a game in this condition.

Devs are just being lazy and even though i pre ordered, im not sure if im going to get it. this is devs talking advantage of gamers. they could have pushed the game back a month to fix it, but im sure they are already working on Fallout 5 or something.
been playing steady since release. the periodical frame drop ( a half second freeze) seems to be when its loading stuff in the wastes. I seem to get it once every 5 mins, never had it do that inside buildings. the ai getting stuck is trivial at best. (seems to be a collision detection issue). This problem is a godsend when im running deathclaws!! lol
I think its hit or miss.
I haven't encountered any glitches yet. My main issue with the game is its constantly unsteady framerate
i hope everyone here who is playing on xbox 360 has it installed to their harddrive. one thign i have noticed about it on my HDD is that when i shut the console down, it shuts down pretty much instantly. i have a launch 20gb, and some games cause the console to have to slow down or wind down once its switch off (it stays lit up and flashes beforeactually powering off).
Here is my list of issues:
Game skips during basic functions (walking)
Game AI freezes causing all NPCs to be unresponsive to any kind of action, this includes enemies and friendlies.
During combat: cannot use iron sights, shoot or use weapons, access pipboy, search corpse... basically walk around and die only.
Quest checkpoints and important characters are missing.
Game freezes at important load points (entering towns, waking up, waiting, quest activation)

You're completely right about people exagerating how glitchy the game is. They're really not. As some users noted, some people have some insignificant little bugs here and there and some people are getting glitches to the point where the game is unplayable. I haven't run into any major problems but my friends have had some ridiculous glitches like the quest log not updating and mission objectives not being completed even though they did the objective, and frequent crashes/freezing issues that force them to play sections of the game over and over. It's stupid because they're technical issues that should've been addressed.
I've played around 12 hours probably, and it's froze around 10 times, and there is plenty of times the game like freezes for just a second or two. Also, just random glitches like I was wondering why I was getting attack on sight by Caesar's Legion despite being neutral, turns out that Boone who was just randomly standing on the staircase leading to Lucky 38 Casino was supposed to be in my party according to the game, but he was just standing there on the steps at all times and I had his gun, which was causing Caesar to attack, so I had to temporarily abandon him. It's not bad though, especially with autosaves.
I guess it's a roll of the dice, if your game glitches or not. I mean this is VEGAS BABAY! Haha. Xx-Addict-xXRight on brother! -starts playing the elvis tracks-

tekken220
It's the same as when Fallout 3 released, no worse in my opinion. It was just exaggerated and blown completely out of proportion because Obsidian was the developer, not Bethesda and everyone is on their cocck.

lol so true, it's almost part of the excitement to wonder if you're going to have a good experience or shiity one.
Beat the game on Hardcore and only had a few issues:
But other than that. The game runs perfectly. Smooth as sandpaper.
after several reloads to try and successfully hack a terminal, i lost hte UI for hacking and lockpicking until i reloaded after switching off the system (even reloading to previous save didnt help, had to restart console)
I'm 15 hours in with three freezes total and very few glitches. I have been playing with all auto save turned off and only one save file. Nothing that can ruin how much I'm enjoying this awesome game.
