Ive been looking to get a handheld and I am a little skeptical about the psp because of the lack of games coming out for it however I just got a deal on the purchase of one the other day. what do you guys think?

New psp-3000

sounds like a good deal, I would go for the psp 2k since the 3k has some screen problems (they are very minor and this only applys if you are able to obtain both). I think I would spring for it... not sure how much electronics cost in the states tho...

That is a great deal! I paid $100 for my PSP 1000, $60 for my 4GB memory stick. $10 for Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX, $20 for Megaman Maverick Hunter X and $35 for Metal Slug Anthology! I've already spent way more than you and you also got Chains of Olympus, Patapon and a screen protector and sleeve. A very good deal. :D Just so you know, the PSP has a great older library of games. There aren't many games people would consider 'stellar' on the horizon, but the past holds some truly great titles. That's why it's sometimes good to get a system later in it's years, usually they have a great backlog of games and a lot of them can be bought for really cheap prices!

That is an amazing deal coming with the best psp game patapon (my opinion) ! Thats a big memory stick and more then enough to do stuff on. PSP is great and has loads of games with great reply value you wont be bored.
