How could you say 1 is better than 2. Stop lying, you know you are.

Yeah, troll much? You probably weren't even born whe the first two came out. "BLACK" was garbage, and so is this new one. Sorry, I know I'm in the minority on this, but I think the demo fo this new game is awful. Glitzy HD graphics and stupidly destructable environments don't make for great play.
I will be passing on this game. Rest of you enjoy it all you like tho.
ahhh that sucks monkey, i was hoping to catch u online for some a$$ whoppin lol....j.k bro, but i guess i understand why some ppl are turned off. but i loved it, im a huge TM fan and this has online and co-op, and split-screen. perfect game to take to ur friends and all have a blast. but i guess u cant please everyoneYou'd never have seen me online with the game, even if I was gushing like a schoolgirl about it. The fact is, I really don't like playing games online, the spamming and the cheating and the BS is more than it's worth. I play some CoD, but that's more about laughing with my friends than playing the game. I'm pretty over the whole online-focus of this gen. As far as split-screen, I need more than that for a $60 out-lay.
Might get it when it dips under $15. WELL under (like $10 or even less - So it might be months, might be years, either way I'm ok with waiting). It just doesn't have what TM2 has (which is on the HDD of my PS3 already and plays wonderfully in split-screen just like it always did). I don't like the characters, and the environments being ridiculously destructible turns me way off. I know not everything breaks like a house of cards when you hit it, but most all the houses falling apart like a FEMA trailer and trees splintering into dust with a touch was dumb. And, it's just missing the magic to me. Everythig after TM2 was missing it, and this game is no different, sadly. Jaffe has had all this time, and that's all he could come up with. Depressing. And before anyone says I haven't given the series or this game itteration enough time can come over and see that I have TM1 thru "Head-On", inclusive, and eat a poached egg outa my skivvies. I love "Twisted Metal", but this one (like so many over the years) fails to grab me in the way the first two did, and continue to do to this day.
I'd rather play the game I love than try to find my love in a game just because it's newer and more shiny.
:)
