How heavy is the PS3?

at a guess id say between 8-12lbs

its pretty heavy i suppose, i guess the weight of the thing acts like an anti theft function, anybody trying to steal your ps3 wont be able to run away with it.

You need 8 gamecubes to support the beast.

Each cube supports 2lbs per square inch. do the math.

In my opinion, and, as a gamer who owns the SNES, N64, PS1, PS2, Xbox, GC, Dreamcast, and the PS3:

The heaviest out of all the systems I mentioned. It felt roughly 150% heavier than the Xbox in my opinion.

i think the US army could replace the nuclear payload with ps3's if you just push a couple of dozen ps3's out of a b52 or a b2 bomber, each one with probably have the impact power of a daisy cutter bomb.

i have a theory that what wiped the dinosaurs out was infact a ps3 that collapsed under its own atomic weight formed a black hole, travelled back in time and fell out of the sky, creating a 6 billion megaton explosion on earth wiping out the dinosaurs.

It's fairly heavy, but not like a tv.

If you dropped it on your foot, you would definetly know about it (and probably cry for the big bill you just wasted).
