How impossible is the demoons souls platinum ?

It looks like such a great game to try and complete... but is it possible ? I mean seriously !

Nothing is impossible :P but I haven't even played the game yet. One more month till its out over here :D

It's a very easy plat, it just takes some time.

when I started, it seemed like such a daunting task, but about halfway through the second playthrough, I realized that its not really that complicated.

The only 'difficult' trophies to get are the ones you earn by going through and beating the game. The rest are just about putting the time into getting them. Collecting all unique weapons, buying all spells, grinding to find the right ores to upgrade each weapon path, etc.

Its really not that hard. It just takes time. I had my platinum in 7 playthroughs and 120 hours of gameplay. If I was trying harder, I could have done it in a lot less time.yentlequible

The game is not easy for the first start ( very hard if don't have any item, no magic, weapon, souls etc ). but maybe a bit easier if start with royal (as got a magic spell with mp ring) then it pick up itself afterward, more you play more you get used to it, then everything will get into place and now only time consuming .

One of the trophies should be "Beat the game without dying" :P

Yeah, you need 4 playthroughs.

Its not a difficult trophy if you get the hang of the mechanics.

It just consumes lots of time. (Item farming + 4 plays)

And that's a useless counter, at least elaborate if you're gonna try and call me out on something. Completing the game isn't too hard, which gains you those trophies. Then there's the stone farming which isn't difficult, it just takes time. Finally you have the several completions needed to gain all miracles/spells/etc., which might be difficult for players that haven't been efficient with their characters and equipment, but one would expect that those that are going to go for the Demon's Souls platinum would be aware of the difficulty of the game the first time through, and have researched the methods needed to achieve the different tasks that are prerequisite for the platinum trophy. In doing so they'd find out that the challenge increases (which again, is not a problem for those who are efficient with character progression and equipment), and find out what is required of them to survive.

So like I said, it's a very easy plat, it just takes some time.

Honestly, Demon's Souls has a relatively easy plat. The biggest challenge is to actually beat the game, and besides that, it's just weapon leveling, spell/miracle learning, and equipment gathering. It does take some time though. At least 3 playthroughs.hazelnutman

i think i'm at 50% for my DS's trophies and that's with 2 playthroughs. it's definately possible just time consuming, but if your just in it for the trophies then justtrade items with ppl to get what you need.i'm not that conserned right now to plat it, but i do plan to eventually. the game itself was enough for me right now.NG+ isseperates the men from the boys:P

Again, elaborate if you're gonna attempt to call me out. Yes, it's been attributed as one of the toughest games this generation, but does that mean the "vast majority" haven't completed it? No. If we want to get into statistics, this isn't a game a casual gamer would play, or at least stick with, so let's eliminate them from the "vast majority." That leaves average and hardcores, and you mean to tell me, out of the ~500,000 copies sold, the "vast majority" haven't even completed the game?

Right.

The platinum I got on my 3rd playthrough. It took a lot of hours, bit I do recommend it. Out of all the platinums I have, that and call of duty W@W were the platinums that were most rewarding. :)

Was away from the plat by like 3 trophies, but then my ps3 crashed and i lost all my save files. So **** IT, I'm not playing this game another 4 times.
