Exactly what the above post states... The patch has ironed out pretty much all the bugs... But there sure is the occasional freezes.. make sure to make multiple saves (just to be on the safer side)...
I played it after all the patches came out and it wasn't bad at all. A few little things here and there, and the frame rate certainly isn't spectacular, but overall it's perfectly playable. Only froze maybe 3 times in about 100 hours.
with the time it took me to plat the only bugs that i encountered was the frame rate dipping under 5 fps and not ever going back up... It happened twice other than that its all good.
I started playing through it recently and it crashed twice in the first hour alone. If people are saying that it's better now it must have really been bad before all the patches.
It varies on each playthrough. You may encounter a heap of disastrous bugs, or you may just come up against several minor ones. That said, it is still pretty glitchy, but worth playing.
Best Buy has it for $9.99, so I bought it, thinking the same thing (That it would be a good follow up to Skyrim). Played for about 20 minutes, turned it off, and never went back. To each their own.
