How is the PS4's WebBrowser?

No one seems to be talking about that feature. Havent seen any videos for it.

A slight upgrade over the PS3 one but nothing to write home about.

Well i can't answer that ;) but there is actually an issue with watching youtube clips as it wants you to install flash which doesn't have a PS4 version.

ah... ok The Flash updates take a little while to come to the PS3 too, so it will be a little wait till the PS4 gets it Flash version update.

It's pretty crappy but it works in a pinch. PC is far better for surfing as usual though.

It's quite a bit faster. Nothing else better about it.

lol it cuz last gen every time people talked about how effective the PS3 web browser was, most people would answer "I just use it to watch porn and anime." Its sort of a joke.

The fact that SONY will not update their browser with Flash is the main reason to never bother with the browser. This was my issue with PS3 as well. You couldn't watch or even use YouTube properly. Don't even get me started on that BS YouTube app. It was deleted the moment it updated just to put ads in your face.

In fact, forget all that. You cannot install AdBlock for the browser anywayz, which means ADS IN YOUR FACE. LoL, nevermind.

Tried the browser, its ok but as previously mentioned theres no flash support which makes it mostly useless to me.

It's basic, it does the job, web page formatting seems okay for me, speeds are good enough and support is alright. Obviously flash is the big problem and ads are frequent(due to no ad block add on) so it's less than stellar but it's usable if you can't be bothered booting up your PC.

@DuaIFace: not many vendors support flash anymore.. it will be dead soon

Go to youtube.com/html5, activate the HTML5 option and now it dosn't require flash.

lol, I figured it was cause when the browser topic came up I often wanted to us it as a joke myself!!

problem is from the Flash side, it's them that don't want to do any effort to put the software (or authorize) on most hardware

its a basic browser that can be useful for quick searches while playing a game but its like im gonna fire up the ps4 to do some web surfing. if i want to browse the web or something ill just use a computer with a full featured browser

Basic browser. I'm a little surprised/disappointed that the touchpad on the DS4 can't be used to move the mouse cursor.
