I practically have it on all day. I turn it on to play some FIFA or whatever, then listen to music on it while I'll cooking or doing stuff around the house, then watch my downloaded TV shows when the wife gets home... it's on all the time! I does so much, it's awesome!Macri
Do you work???
Iturn it off when i'm not using it since I don't want to drive up my power bill anymore than I have to..My lights dim for a split second when I turn it on so that shows you how much power it uses :)Land-0-Funk
If your lights dim when you turn your system on then you may want to have the electrical system in your home checked by an electrician for poor connections or faulty wiring before you have a fire in your home because the system doesn't draw that much power when booting up.
I'm not trying to be a rude person, instead this is something to be concerned about. I hope you don't take this as being rude.

well I live in an apt. building..so yeah there could be some faulty wiring..all the more reason too turn off my PS3 when its not in use :) and I turn off my power strip when I leave my place since all these devices use power even when they're instandby mode. And don't worry..only fools are offended by posts on message boards;)
