i disagree. my first play thru i didnt enough know you could upgrade powers.. You can't be serious...... Yup... it was on normal difficulty.. they never mention the stupid upgrade system in the pause menu other than at the beginning... and i must of been to drunk to notice. :P

Wow i must be really bad at that game then since I had problems playing on easy with most of the upgrades near the end :(

I guess it depends. Your first playthrough will probably be 10-15 hours just through mistakes and curiosity. Could be around 30+ hours if you try for all the dead drops, territory's and blast shards

And I will say, finding all the shards is a waste of time unless you really covet the Platinum trophy... However the dead drops are great and add a lot to the story imo..

okay then :P I might have been less but hey, I really enjoyed the game and wanted it to last as long as possible. After I beat a game, I tend to lose interest in it.

You're not forced atall, the game is easy enough without upgrading all your power.

It takes even longer if you wanna platinum it. Personally I sell whatever I beat these days unless it's something I consider nostalgic (MGS4's plot) or a sports game.

You're not forced atall, the game is easy enough without upgrading all your power. That easy? Yup, you get new powers by just playing the game anyway, the only parts I had any problems on was the first mission on the final island, but as long as you have a good stratagy, you'll be fine.
I can't say how many hours it takes but there are 40 missions...
Is it hard Of course it's hard, on the harder difficulty. Just get the game and see for yourself. lol. Even then it's not really a challenge, I actually hope Infamous 2 has harder settings.
