I don't have a time really. I try to buy games that'll have a long lasting value like Fallout or something. Even when I don't have anything new, I rotate my games depending on my mood and all my games are replayed and never really get bored of it. That is all provided of coarse, that I've spent my money wisely for a game I really wanted and know I'll play for a long time...
I have never played a few games at a time. I play one game a time for as long as possible so I could master it at the best of my abilities and beat the game. If I were to play like 5 games at a time, I would think that I would soon forget the controller buttons of the earlier game and my skills would be diminishied. I can definitely see that happening in fighting games.
[QUOTE="Texas2089"][QUOTE="meconate"] True, playing Peace Walker for over 160 hours now and still not bored of it...meconateWow. I've put in about 7 :P How many times have you beaten it? Well first playthrough I did solo, then 2nd I played co-op... that's for the main ops. But I can't get enough of it, so I play random ex-ops and main-ops all the time! xD Currently, I'm capturing all mechs over again as I lost most of them in some outer ops missions. Haha. For me, there's so much to do in it. :3 I've only played solo so far. I don't have anybody to play with to do co-op :( I've been doing all the extra ops too though so the game has kept me busy what I've played of it.
it takes me about 2 weeks to a monthof playing the same game cuz i want to see all of what it can offer then i just lose intrest and i may come back to it later.Roll-X0918I only buy games that age well, meaning they never lose their beautiful art styles/graphics, stunning sounds, engrossing atmosphere, or the great gameplay that got me hooked from the beginning.
If I enjoy a game then never. I might stop playing it but that's not because I'm bored of it, but rather because I want to move onto the next one. If I don't enjoy the game then I'll stop. The point of boredowm for those games always varies.

Same here, but there is actually another factor that deteminates wheter or not I return to the games. I have games like AC2 that were fun to plat, but that I don't play again and others like Disgaea 3 which I start playing again every half year if there's a *dry games period* ^^
i still play shadow of the colossus, oblivion, metal gear solid 4, gta4 etc.
i only get the heavy hitters with extreme replayability and high review scores.
cant say that about red faction guerrilla though...
I used too. Sometimes I still do. But depending on the game though. If I get bored with a game in within 2 weeks then I'll try collecting the trophies for the game so I won't get bored of it.

If you mean getting bored of playing the same game... about two or three weeks.
If you consider the replayability, and the possibility of putting the game aside for a few time (days, weeks, months...), I'd say it takes for me something between two weeks and twenty-five years or so to get bored of a game.
Just recently I was playing:
River Raid (Atari 2600), Shining Force (Genesis), Final Fantasy VII (PS), Metal Gear Solid 3 (PS2) and Dragon Age Origins (PS3)
