I am currently having trouble killing shadow teddie and was wonering if I should have grinded more before saving Rise. I am level 28 and I have died 2 times to him. I feel like it's doable but I can't help to think that I wasted so much time level my social links and my real world stuff that I messed up.

It should be doable at 28. depends on the persona's you are using and your party's equipment though.

As long as the main character has a good persona and they have their equipment up to date I never had to grind and I wasn't going out of my way to find battles while playing on normal. If you keep losing gain a few levels, if they are close level until the other character learn their next upgraded ability. It shouldn't take very long.

I can't help to think that I wasted so much time level my social links and my real world stuff that I messed up.

You should be able to get through each dungeon in one day, easily if you are raising the hermit social link so the fox can heal you for less money and if you want to max all social links one day for each dungeon is what you should be trying for.

A few more levels and Black Frost should do the trick.

If you really need the time again you can try tripping a 'time-over game-over' on purpose (just keep going back home and sleeping). When you get the game over message you will be allowed to start again from a week before the game over. 7 days is enough to tackle any dungeon in the game (and this time you will have a lot of knowledge about the upcoming problems to help you out).

Coincidentally, I just got to this part not too long ago... I didn't really "grind," but I did make sure to fully explore each level. Also helped that I was able to sweep most of the cards dealt to me. I'd go until each of my characters were out of sp, then called it quits for the day. Since you have multiple days to work with, I didn't bother wasting money on getting the Fox to heal me. I invested that money in new weapons and armor.

Try and fuse Unicorn, as he is immune to Ice. And Shadow Teddie uses Mabufula right after he uses Mind Charge. If you have Yukiko (and you should) make her do most of the healing for you. When Teddie uses Mind Charge, have Yukiko block so she she avoids getting hit with Ice, which is her weakness. All block when he Ultra Charges. And when he uses Marakunda (lowers party's defense), he'll follow up with Heat Wave. That's just a general oversight of how Shadow Teddie fights. You should be fine from there.

unless you are on the hardest mode (which i personally played on) i dont feel like you should ever have to grind. i typically had to grind out maybe 2-3 extra levels each dungeon... but it went fast. those wealth hands piss me off though.... there is no way to stop them from running and unless you get stupidly lucky with crits that knock them down, you will NOT kill them before they escape. not even revolution is sufficient to guarantee a kill.

That must only be true on the hardest difficulty. After my last post I decided I would never wait till the last minute to train. As a result, I completely dominate bosses no problem. When I fight the hands I put down their defense and use god's hand on them, which in normal takes about a third of their health. They still piss me off though because in the higer levels they tend to use High Counter ALOT and since God's Hand is such a powerful move I get oneshoted by my own move.

That's hard to answer without knowing your equipment and persona.
