I got a free PS3 from my good friend, he's pretty loaded and had a ps3 and wii collecting dust. Just went there yesterday picked up the 60 GB, i feel kind of bad cause most people have to pay upwards of 600 dollars where as i paid zero, but its still a great feeling.
I've had a Nintendo Wii sitting doing nothing for 2 months, just no time for it with a PS3 and and 360 that I hardly use too. I've thought about giving the Wii away to someone that wouldn't normally be able to get one. But then ebay comes to mind and I got it bills :)
But you owe they guy. I'd almost offer to pay what I can if I were in your shoes, something to finalize the deal to make the transaction final so he can never ask for it back.
If anything, after receiving this generous act, if you ever get the chance, do a suprising generous act to someone else that could use something.
